Background

Dance Ihayami approached krayamotion as they required an audio visual presentation to demonstrate the flair and visually rich nature of the company. The video was to be used as a promotional video when applying for funding or as a general promotional tool.

What We Did

krayamotion created a visually rich documentary exploring the dance company, its key people, the dance form and the dancers.  By using an off-beat and stylistic approach, much like Dance Ihayami themselves, we created a documentary that filled the criteria of a 'corporate' documentary and more.The film comprised of the visual piece which had two dances filmed with a full stage lighting as well as interviews with the board members and testimonials from leading arts organisers.  By using music and dance as the the thread of the documentary we opened up the world of classical Indian dance with fresh eyes and verve. This was done in such a way that it expressed the key company ethos that made it so unique and successful. 

Results

Dance Ihayami have used the showreel as part of their marketing campaign and as a result they experienced a mass increase in interest.
